Thank you for visiting A Glowing Candle. Here you will find individually hand poured gel candles at an affordable price. Safety and quality is of utmost importance in creating these candles. Soy and Palm Wax candles will be added at a later time.

Candles add a warm, aromatic, celebratory note to our lives. Over the years, the creativity and imagination of candle makers have resulted in a wide variety of interesting candles available to us.

For many years candles were the main source of light. Electricity has replaced the candle as an important source of light, but the candle is still important today. It is now popular for its role in decoration on festive occasions, for the calm and sanctity it evokes in religious ceremonies, and for the general mood of warmth, relaxation, and even romance it creates in our lives.

EVERYONE NEEDS AND WANTS A CANDLE!!

The warm glow of fragrant candlelight is one of life's special pleasures. However, it can also be hazardous if safe practices are unheeded. Please be aware of proper and safe candle use.


CANDLE SAFETY
NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED!


Always burn candles on a heat resistant surface. Candle holders may become hot and damage furniture. A good heat resistant surface can be made from a ceramic tile (cover bottom with felt to protect furniture).

Keep all burning candles away from children and pets.

Position candles away from flammable objects.

Place freestanding candles in a shallow dish or bowl to catch the wax in case of a blowout.

Burn no more than 4 hours at a time.

If the flame gets too large or exposed wick is taller than 1/4", extinguish and trim the wick.

Keep away from drafts.

Do not allow matches or wick trimmings to fall into the melt pool.

Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax or gel remains in the bottom.

Do not move while burning or is still hot.
